Behind Spilled! is developer Lente, who began working on this project at the end of 2022. This game marks her first commercial release and reflects her passion for environmental conservation and gaming.

To dedicate herself fully to this project, Lente paused her schooling and bought her own small boat to live on. This unique decision helped reduce living costs and allowed her to focus intensely on developing Spilled!. When her savings were almost depleted, she successfully launched a Kickstarter campaign, which provided the necessary support to bring her vision to life and release the game to the public.
